The Trunk Sewer (Manhole #15) project, nestled in Moriah, NY, played a pivotal role in relieving the town's overburdened sewer system, and improving the quality of life for its residents.

Our comprehensive contract encompassed the installation of 2,500 linear feet of 18” SDR sewer pipe, a challenging 36” steel-cased jack and bore, and the construction of a new pump station equipped with a backboard, controls, and electrical systems. We also executed directional drilling and skillfully reshaped a slope adjacent to an active railroad.

Thanks to our work, the Town of Moriah can now efficiently capture and convey wastewater from numerous main sewer lines to the new pump station, significantly enhancing their wastewater management infrastructure.

Moriah, a town nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Champlain, holds a unique charm. Its folklore includes sightings of a creature akin to the Loch Ness monster, affectionately known as "Champ." The locals celebrate Champ's mystique with an annual parade held in his honor, adding a touch of magic to this historic town. At Manfred Construction, we take pride in contributing to the vitality of communities like Moriah, where history and innovation converge.
